One trick I use (and suggest) for things like this is to cut out a section (such as one section of an overhanging clip on your model) and do a test print of that to see how it works without support material.When using PETG as support on PLA prints Prusa Slicer (2.7.1) throws in a "M140 S85" at the second layer and keeps that bed-temp until the end of the print.
