Among the doberman people i know, i never hear anyone talk about ear crops in categories. They do talk about show crops, sometimes "long" show crops, and sometimes "pet" crops, but ive never heard a breeder try to pick out the pet from the show prospects and tell the vet what "style" to make each puppies' ears depending on its future in the show ring or not. for a pet puppy that was purchased ...
